The Simulation Centre
The Simulation Centre at TVU allows students to learn and practice their clinical skills used in nursing and midwifery.
They learn these skills in specially created labs – replicated clinical environments.
They can learn skills ranging from relatively simple psychomotor skills to simulated clinical scenarios where a wide range of skills and knowledge can be applied, rehearsed and if necessary assessed.
Our students come from either:
- courses run by other departments – these students learn the practical skills part of their course with us
- tailored made courses we run for a NHS trust or the commercial sector.
We also run a summer school for students.
