Child Health

Becoming a children's nurse is the first step in an exciting and fulfilling career in Child Health.

At TVU you will experience a course that introduces you to well children and their families, in their own normal environment, before learning to care for sick children and their families.

We provide education for children's nursing in London and Berkshire.

We link closely with our practice partners to ensure that the education provision on offer meets the needs of the ever changing health care provision of the NHS.

We run a three year course that can be taken at one of three levels: diploma, advanced diploma or a BSc (Hons).

We also offer post qualifying degree pathways in:

• neonatal nursing
• paediatric critical care
• contemporary issues in child health.

Stand alone modules are also available covering a wide breadth of topics such as:

• child protection
• adolescent health
• children and young peoples mental health
• pain in children
• loss and grief in children.
