Wolfson Clinical Skills
Centre resources are available at both the Ealing and Slough sites they include:
Skills Areas: for simulated skills, computer based learning and facilitated skills practice. Physiology Laboratory: is used for practical physiology, health awareness, exercise, computer based learning, data collection and analysis. Many of the Learning Resources that
are used for scheduled teaching sessions, can be used by
students to develop their skills. Computer based packages and other
equipment can be booked when they are not being used for these
teaching sessions (although some equipment can only be used under supervision). A recently introduced package is the (Active Study Sessions In Skills Training). Part of your preparation to enter the branch programme, will be assessment of your portfolio at the end of each module. You will be able to use the evidence that you complete from these packages that are designed to support your learning skills. Further Level 2 packages will be ready for use in the near future.
