Learning Communities

The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences, in collaboration with its partners in the healthcare sector, established seven learning communities along the Thames Valley in September 2001.

A Learning Community in healthcare education is a professional community of educators, practitioners and support staff, who are focused on promoting continuous enquiry and improvement within healthcare education and practice with a focus on local needs.
